Skype for Business: Screen Sharing

Skype for Business (formerly Microsoft Office Communicator & Lync) is used for instant messaging and desktop sharing.

Initiating an Instant Message

Once you have signed in (How to Sign In) and your contact lists are displayed, you can right-click or double-click on any name to initiate an IM (instant message).

Note: Either party must initiate an IM to be able to screen share.

Presenting Your Desktop

Click on the monitor icon, a menu will display allowing you to choose what to present.

Skype will remind you that everything on the screen you chose will be viewable by the other party. Click OK, then Present.
