Reset Network Password

You can change your network password at anytime by using your current password.

Changing your Password

These steps should be performed on a Windows computer that is hard-wired to the Alamo Network (changing passwords when off campus can create issues).

Passwords should contain a good mixture of upper/lower case letters, numbers, and symbols. Passwords should also not be based on dictionary words

On your computer's keyboard, select Ctr, Alt, Delete. Continue holding each key while you click the next key.

Select "Change a password" option.

On the change a password screen:

  1. Enter your old password
  2. Enter your new password
  3. Confirm your new password
  4. Click the arrow to confirm

Reset your network password at least once every 6 months.

If you plan to be away from campus for a significant period of time, you might consider resetting you password on campus before you leave.
