Send, Receive, and Download Attachments
Attachments are essential in communicating and sharing important documents, assignments, presentations, etc. In this guide, we will go over how to send, receive, and download attachments.
1. The easiest way to send attachments is through email. Begin by opening your Outlook app and select New Email.
2. Then, look for the paper clip icon in top navigation bar. Click the paper clip to attach. To attach files from your computer, select Browse This PC...
3. The file explorer page will appear. Locate and select the file you want to attach and click Insert.
4. The file will attach to the email under the subject line.
There are a number of ways to download attachments from the web, but in this guide we will go over downloading and saving attachments from your email onto your computer.
1. Begin by opening up your email and locating a email you received with an attachment. Open the email, and locate the attached file underneath the subject line.
2. Click on the drop down arrow > Save As to download and save the attachment.
3. You can choose to save it to downloads, desktop, documents, or any folder. Select the place where you want to save it, then click Save.
